Stephanie Panion is the scholarship program coordinator at the Boettcher Foundation. In her role, she manages the scholarship application process and coordinates a variety of programs for current scholars and alumni. She also acts as a liaison between the Boettcher Foundation and our college and university partners throughout the state.
Stephanie’s experience includes serving as the admissions assistant at the University of Denver’s Graduate School of Social Work, and later as the development, outreach and communications coordinator.
Hailing from Pueblo, Stephanie attended the University of Denver, graduating in 2002 with a bachelor’s degree in communication studies. Stephanie returned to DU in 2010 and earned a master’s degree in higher education.
Having studied abroad in London, Stephanie is obsessed with all things British. If it is a Sunday night, you’ll surely find her watching “Downton Abbey” while sipping English Breakfast tea. She loves to follow news about the royal family—especially Kate Middleton.
I love the fact that we have all four seasons in Colorado! In fact, there was one time where I experienced all four seasons in just one day!
I love playing guitar and learning new songs, especially David Gray’s “Sail Away.” Currently, I am trying to learn how to sing and play at the same time.
