An empty darkroom used for storage at the Arvada Center for the Arts and Humanities has been refashioned into a state-of-the-art digital lab, open to the public and offering classes for all ages, thanks to a collaboration among public/private, arts, business, and philanthropic sources.

The new Digital Creative Arts Lab (DCAL) at the Arvada Center offers classes in animation, digital printmaking, green screen technology, Photoshop, wearable art, and more in a lab stocked with 3D printers, laptops, and tablets.
