04 Oct Boettcher Foundation elects new trustee
October 4, 2013 — The Boettcher Foundation Board has announced the election of a new trustee. Comprised of twelve Colorado business and community leaders, trustees are responsible for the oversight of the Boettcher Foundation, including support and preservation of its vision and mission.
Christine Marquez-Hudson, CEO/Executive Director, Mi Casa Resource Center
Christine Marquez-Hudson joined Mi Casa in 2008 and immediately led the organization through a comprehensive strategic process that redefined Mi Casa’s mission. As a result, Mi Casa is now a Colorado leader in sector-focused job training, women and minority owned business development, youth and family development programs.
Marquez-Hudson is a recognized community leader. Along with many other awards, she is the 2013 9News Leader of the year, a prestigious honor awarded to an emerging leader who has made a significant contribution to the well-being of Colorado. She is a 2009 Bonfils-Stanton Livingston Fellow, A Colorado Trust Fellow, and an alumna of the National Hispana Leadership Institutes’ Executive Leadership Program.
She received her undergraduate degree from UCLA. She then went on to receive her Masters of Nonprofit Management from Regis University.
