Katie Kramer
President & CEO

Since 2017, Katie has served as President and CEO of the Boettcher Foundation, bringing her career full circle. She was selected as a Boettcher Scholar as a Colorado high school senior and has served in multiple professional roles with the Foundation since 1997.
A connector and lifelong learner, Katie is widely recognized as a thought leader in leadership development, philanthropy, and nonprofit management. She is also a passionate champion for rural Colorado and the leaders who call it home.
A fourth-generation Coloradan, Katie earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Colorado Boulder, where she was a Presidents Leadership Class Scholar and honors graduate of the Leeds School of Business. In 2009, she completed her Executive MBA at the University of Denver’s Daniels College of Business.
Katie has served extensively on local and national boards. Her current board service includes the University of Colorado’s Center for Leadership, the Colorado Forum, the Denver Metro Chamber of Commerce, the Downtown Denver Partnership, and YPO. She previously served as Chair of YPO Colorado and currently serves as Chair of the Western Region of the United States.
Her leadership and community impact have been recognized through numerous honors, including the Denver Business Journal’s “40 Under 40,” the Colorado Women’s Chamber of Commerce’s “Top 25 Most Powerful Women,” and the Del Hock Lifetime Achievement Award from the Denver Metro Chamber of Commerce.
Outside of work, Katie is an avid outdoor enthusiast who loves spending time with her family exploring Colorado’s mountains, plains, forests, and desert landscapes. She is the proud mom of two boys, devoted to her wiener dog Ike, and a partner and fishing buddy to her husband, Joe.
