Leilani Osmundson

Communications Specialist

Leilani focuses on the Boettcher Foundation’s communication efforts including the LEAD and ELEVATE newsletters, the Colorado Leadership Stories podcast, and social media strategy. She is deeply committed to inclusive storytelling that elevates every voice.

Before joining the Foundation, Leilani worked as a digital producer in both travel media and local government.  

Originally from New Zealand, Leilani grew up in Thornton before attending the University of Colorado Boulder as a 2016 Boettcher Scholar. She earned degrees in strategic communication and film production and served as a Student Ambassador, sharing her enthusiasm for CU Boulder through campus tours.

Outside of work, Leilani enjoys backpacking and camping around Colorado, international travel, and reading books of any and every genre. She lives in Westminster with her husband and their six pets: a mini Australian shepherd and five guinea pigs.

Favorite Colorado Experience:

Backpacking the Highland Mary Lakes trail in Durango or watching the sunset in Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park.
